Cedar Court care home in Witney, Oxfordshire, is looking forward to celebrating the official Oxfordshire Day on Friday 19 October – and everyone is invited!
The home is holding a special Alice in Wonderland themed day, based on the author CS Lewis’ connections with the county.
A Mad Hatters Tea Party will be taking place in the afternoon from 3pm, with staff dressing up as characters from the much-loved novel, including the Queen of Hearts and Alice.
There will be a host of games taking place during the day, including hoopla on a big playing card, plus ‘pin the grin’ on the Cheshire Cat!
In the evening, from 7:30pm, Cedar Court will then be holding a special ‘University Challenge – Cedar Court style’ quiz, with teams answering questions on an Oxfordshire theme. There will be refreshments after, with cheese and biscuits.
